Ingredients:

2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4-5 pounds)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup barbecue sauce (your choice)

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the thin membrane on the back of the ribs for tender results.

Step 2: Make the Dry Rub
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

Step 3: Season the Ribs
Rub the spice mixture all over both sides of the ribs, pressing it into the meat.

Step 4: Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Pour the apple cider vinegar around the ribs on the baking sheet. Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bones.

Step 5: Add the Barbecue Sauce
Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully uncover them. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce on both sides. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).

Step 6: Caramelize the Sauce
Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Step 7: Serve
Slice the ribs between the bones and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
